Social Concerns
Takes care of a mix of needs in the parish.
This includes a monthly parish food drive,
Visiting nursing homes, annual
Christmas giving tree and a bi-annual blood drive.
In addition through the social concerns ministry,
Parishioners donate grocery certificates as part of an outreach to the local needy.
In addition, members visit local women prisoners,
Provide transportation to mass for the elderly or disabled, provide grocery shipping or transportation to those in need. This ministry is not confined to community boundaries as was reflected in last summer's outreach to those suffering from flood damage.
